I tried both visual studio 2008 and 2010 on windows 7 ultimate and parallels desktop for mac 5.0 when i try to create new empty project in visual c# in both cases i get error: Invalid url: could not parse to hostname. Though, you can use some sort of virtual machine softwarre like VMWare to run Windows on Mac, and in the virtual environment you can install and use VS.
